Records: Jones (23-1), Smith (31-13)
Section: Light heavyweight

GSP is among the short list of the best of all time regardless of division. The very best? One could make an argument for the 31-year-old Jones. From the Octagon, he has no peer. He seems to derail his career out of it, whether due to failing drug tests or legal issues. In 2011, Jones became the youngest winner in UFC history, and he never lost it. Jones was suspended and stripped and But a failed drug test would come out after Jones beat on Daniel Cormier in UFC 214 of this light heavyweight belt.
It was earned by jones back using a knockout of Alexander Gustafsson, but that arrived with the asterisk. Jones tested positive as well as Nevada’s state would not give him a licence to fight. So the entire card, in a move, was altered to Los Angeles. The Smith is a former pupil that has fought at 205 pounds for less than a year. He is on an impressive series over Rashad Evans, Mauricio Rua and Volkan Oezdemir. There is some discussion Jones might face Cormier, the heavyweight champ, using a win even though Jones (unofficially) has beaten him twice already.
